Village People Live at Sheraton Waikiki Doors open at 9 p.m. with everyone's favorite music from the 70's and 80's followed by Village People hitting the stage at 11 p.m. 2009 marks Village People's 32 years as icons of disco worldwide. Known for their flamboyant costumed personas, Village People have produced dance standards such as Macho Man, In the Navy, and Can't Stop the Music. Original founding members Alexander Briley (the "military rep/G.I."), David Hodo (the "construction worker"), and Felipe Rose (the "Indian") are joined by Raymond Simpson (the "cop"), Jeff Olson (the "cowboy"), and Eric Anzalone (the "biker") to dance in the New Year at Sheraton Waikiki. |
